12/15/2010: "KC Shooting Masters Renewal 2011"

Here is what is required to become a member of KC Shooting Masters IDPA club.

1. Current Bullet Hole membership card
2. Current membership card from NRA or other board approved 2nd Amendment
organization
3. Membership application (available at the desk during Saturday's match registration) or can
be downloaded from the web site. Go to the Club Information tab, the link to the form is
on the left side of the page towards the bottom of the page.
4. Membership fee - $20
5. Two dates when you can help run one of our matches. Experienced shooters are expected
to be Safety Officers, new/inexperienced shooters will be assistant Safety Officers.

We need everyone to help run matches. This prevents burnout from those that help all of the time and gives you experience in a couple of different ways. First you can see what it takes to put on a safe interesting match and second you will pick up pointers on the best way to shoot matches as you watch the other shooters run thru your stage. The BOD is available to help any of our SOs/ASOs with designing a stage that will uphold the guidelines set forth by IDPA. It is very important to follow the guidelines listed in the rulebook. Also as a perk, anyone running a stage either as the SO or as the ASO will shoot that day for free.
